WELCOME FROM THE RECTOR

I am delighted to be able to welcome you to the benefice of East Clevedon, part of the Church of England diocese of Bath and Wells, serving four distinct and very different parishes in Clevedon and surrounding villages towards Portishead.

We offer an inclusive ministry which is both traditional and contemporary. Traditional in the sense that we use the church’s liturgy and hymns, contemporary in that we want to be fresh, relevant and responsive to you and our community.

I understand that you might want to know more about our benefice for a variety of reasons. To organise a wedding, baptism or funeral. To come to a special event or service. To learn more about the faith or to join a good church as you have recently moved to the area.

We can help. Church is not just about Sundays, however important our worship together is. Through this website you will be able to find out about regular services, home groups, children’s activities, baptisms and weddings as well as pastoral care, social events and support.

We will try to help you to ensure that your church experience is all that you would want it to be.
