‘Sunday Club’ and ‘Next Step’

About our Children’s Groups

Sunday Club (for primary-aged children up to Yr6) meets in the parish rooms at All Saints (adjoining the church) and lasts for about forty minutes. The children and leaders start in church at 10.30am and leave for Sunday Club following the first hymn and prayers and then join the congregation in church for communion. All children are very welcome to join the Sunday Club; reception children and under need to be accompanied by an adult. The teachers use a varied programme of work and it is tailored to suit all ages.

Next Step (for children and young people from Yr7) meets at the same time on a Sunday in the Vestry of All Saints and is relaxed and conversational as the young people explore their growing faith. Hot drinks and beanbags are very much the order of the day!

On the first Sunday of the month there is a special All Age Communion in church at 10.30am and Sunday Club and Next Step do not meet, but children are encouraged to take part fully in the service.

Please contact the parish office on 01275 873257 if you would like more information.

It is a happy and helpful group for all pre-school children and their parents/carers. It includes singing, craft, story time and prayers with toys and games for the children and tea and conversation for the adults.
